Oceania Cruises recently announced destinations for the debut season of its newest ship—Vista. Her Inaugural Season voyages begin in April 2023 and will offer ports of call that even the most seasoned globetrotters might need to read up on.

The town was largely built with stones from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which can be admired from any number of celebrity-approved beach clubs and spas.

Little wonder this emerging hot spot was recently named a top travel destination by Architectural Digest, Conde Nast Traveler, and Bloomberg.

Home to the largest freshwater lakes in Central America, Corinto is at once delightful and daring. Swim with freshwater sharks in Lake Nicaragua or take to the Pacific for the consistent clean waves that make this spot a surfer’s sanctuary.

Those who prefer a little less action can hop in a charming three-wheeled taxi for a trip to a nearby finca, or coffee ranch, that promises to enlighten and awaken. A historical tour that includes cathedrals and the ruins of Old León, one of the oldest Spanish settlements on the continent is also an option. You can decide as you stroll along the colorful city streets that lead the way to the town’s UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, relax in the shadow of the smoldering Cerro Negro, one of the world’s most accessible volcanos.
