The new and improved m/s Paul Gauguin navigates the South Pacific with ease.

The m/s Paul Gauguin recently underwent renovations, with all updates celebrating an elevated nod to the South Pacific. The new décor enriches the guests experience while sailing through the blue lagoons of Tahiti, French Polynesia, Fiji, and the South Pacific. A palette incorporating shades of blue, taupe, green, and pearl complements warm wood finishes, woven textiles, Polynesian motifs, and stylish gold accents. Plus, all promenades feature new carpets, furniture, and textiles.

With the renovations came a few changes, including the addition of a Reading Nook in lieu of the casino, and the ship’s hospital has undergone technical advancements. Additionally, complimentary Wi-Fi has been added to the already extensive list of all-inclusives available aboard m/s Paul Gauguin.

In 2019, Paul Gauguin Cruises eliminated use of heavy fuel oil on m/s Paul Gauguin and began to offset 150 percent of carbon emissions. In an ongoing effort to minimize impact on the environment, a new water treatment, consumption optimization, and energy-saving initiatives have been added to her operations.

In addition to the cosmetic update of m/s Paul Gauguin, guests can enjoy decorative screens featuring Paul Gauguin’s artwork throughout the ship, one of which resides in Fare Tahiti, the ship’s “museum.” Passengers have the opportunity to view 150 paintings and read annotations on Paul Gauguin’s work.
