Visit the Audain Art Museum. Made of natural wood and glass, the museum features sequential public spaces and galleries and is surrounded by evergreen forest. It was built to fit within the area’s natural elements. The permanent collection showcases British Colombian art from the late 18th century to present and also includes a collection of 19th- and 20th-century First Nations masks.

7 p.m.


Dinner at SIDECUT. The restaurant’s farm and ocean-to-table influence pays homage to British Columbia’s diverse fare and takes a modern, lighter approach to mountain cuisine. A sleek wood interior is an inviting setting or diners can eat al fresco on the scenic patio.

Live music and cocktails at Fairmont’s The Mallard Lounge and Terrace. This library-style lounge boasts master mixologists and classic nightclub entertainment at the base of Blackcomb Mountain.
